I decorate my eye sore clothes line in tree branches to make it look like a tree. I made a banner saying Happy 2nd Birthday in Gold noodle boxes. We decorated the railings with green streamers to make it look more jungle like. We had yellow balloons off our fences.

Food
So has you saw above we had a BBQ. I decorated the table with a green table cloth and the cutlery and plates and cups in yellow. We also had vegetarian options - zuchinni, holumi, onion, mushroom and capsicum.

I decide to make cake pops. They were amazing and so delicious. I surprised that I didn't eat them all.

Garden theme party

For my daughter Isabelle's first birthday we decide to throw her a garden party as that was her favourite place to be. It was my first themed party and like to think I have grown in my ideas -  its a little simple but hey she had fun.

Some other ideas if your kids our older is to make it like a high tea. Think scones, herbals teas, finger sandwiches,  punch and little cakes and slices. You could dress girls with pearls and feather boas.

Invites:

These cute little ladybugs wings open up to reveal the party details. The eyes where google eyes and the antenna was wire.

Decorations:

Balloons decorated to look like flowers on every post and a happy birthday banner.

My closeline is ugly and such an eye sore so I tried to make it look pretty (lol)
We brought out some of her more sturdier toys for the toddlers to play with.

Trying to create a funny memory of us dressed like bugs. As you can see we have a little ladybug to match invites.

Food

We did typical party food like mini dim sims, spring rolls, sandwhiches, fairy bread. I made mini pizzas and shaped the dough like flowers to match garden theme. I decorated the table with a vase and flowers and used bright cutlery and plates to much the balloon flowers.

CakeSo this is our garden cake. It is banana cake with cream cheese icing topped with cadbury flake chocolate crushed up. The orange pot is made with fondant and the base has chocolate and green sprinkles for grass. The dirt is strawberries dipped in chocolate and covered with sprinkles. The flower stem is made with grapes and a skewer and kiwi fruit in leafs. The flower itself is watermelon and pineapple and our candle was a ladybug.

Favor:  Was cadbury fun size chocolates, and a bath toy that were different types of bugs.
